●LA's new ice cream
It was a hot day and we went to an ice cream shop near Sunset Boulevard. I've read about that place on the Internet. It's a shop of Iranian ice cream! I was really curious about it.
They had an ice cream called “rosewater.” I thought rosewater had something to do with cosmetics – I didn’t know you could eat it!
They also have "pomegranate" flavor. I didn't know what it was, so I asked them. But it was too hard to understand. We finally looked it up in the dictionary and figured out it was "zakuro"!
I really wanted to try every flavor, but finally decided to have "rosewater saffron with pistachios." It was yellow, the color of saffron. And the pistachios green was beautiful!
It sure had the scent of rose, and was very creamy. I wish I could get it in Japan!

It's a ～ shop.（～の店だ）と書くと同時に、really curious（興味しんしん）のように自分の期待感を入れると、読むほうも続きが楽しみになってきます。
■I didn't what is was, so I asked them. But it was too hard to understand.
「何だかわからなかったので聞いてみた」というエピソードを入れます。このようにうまくいかなかったことについても書いておくと、あとで自分で読み返したときに、そのときの情景が生き生きとよみがえってきますよ。

色や見た目の印象についても書いておきます。英語の「おいしそう」はlooks goodですが、これだけだと物足りないので、気が付いたことを具体的に描写しておくといいでしょう。

rosewater（バラの水）のアイスということもあり、香りに言及してみました。「いいにおい！」はSmells good!でOKです。
■FYI
For Your Information（ご参考までに）の略です。こんなふうに読者を意識して具体的な情報を入れておくと、読むほうにとってはさらにありがたいですね。
