Dear Mr. President.

My name is Andrea King. I am 9 years old. My family and I are praying for you. We are glad you are a Christian.

But I have a question. Doesn't God tell us to love our enemies? And if we try to bomb Iraq then they will fight back. If we try to be peacemakers and fix the orphanages and schools then the terrorism may stop. If you don't like my suggestion - then it’s OK. We could try to raise money for orphanages and schools and hospitals. I have tried to collects money for an orphanage in Baghdad, Iraq called Al - Alwiyah Girls Orphanage and raised $1,100 so their generator can work more than two hours a day.

I’d like to share something in the Bible. “Blessed are the poor in spirit.” Also one of the ten commandments are:“ You shall not murder. ” And when we start war or go to war we are killing people. But God would never want us to start wars, let us stop them.

I also want to say that you were very brave in 9-11. I would have been scared.

でも質問があります。神様は汝の敵を愛せよと言ったのではありませんか？私たちがイラクに爆弾を落とすと、彼らは反撃してくるでしょう。私たちが平和を願い、養護施設や学校を修理すれば、テロもなくなるでしょう。私の言っていることがおかしく聞こえるなら、それでもいいです。養護施設や学校、病院のために私たちがお金を集めることだってできます。私は、イラクのバグダッドにあるAl（Alwiyah少女養護施設）という名前の養護施設のためにお金を集めました。1100ドルが集まったので、これで施設の発電機を一日に2時間以上運転させることができます。

聖書の言葉を引用しますね。「心の貧しいものは幸いです」十戒からも引用します。「汝、殺すことなかれ」戦争を始めたり戦争に行ったりすると、人を殺すことになります。でも神は私たちが戦争を起こすことを決して望んではいません。戦争はやめましょう。

もう一言言わせてください。あの9月11日のことで、大統領はとても勇敢でした。私だったら怖くて逃げ出していたかもしれません。
