英語の数字の読み方・書き方　基数・序数編

ビジネスでよく使う数字の英語表現です。まずは、基本となる、基数・序数の英語の基礎をきっちり押さえおきましょう！

ビジネスで欠くことのできない、数字。すべての数字の英語表現の基礎は、基数と序数です。

＊3桁以上の数字の早読み方は、第1弾「英語の数字早読み法」をご参照ください。

今後、小数点(dicimal)、分数(fraction)、数式・計算式(calculations)の読み方、累乗(power)、平均(average)、容積(capacity)、比率(ratio)等、ビジネスで必要な数字の英語表現を扱っていく予定です。

基数(cardinal number)は、数字表現の基礎となる数字です。基数には、偶数(even number)と奇数(odd number)があります。また、「数字」自体を表す英語には、（digit / number / numeral / figure）などがあります。

序数(ordinal number)は、「～番目（の）」と、順序、順番を表します。
基数に"th"を末尾につけて標記します。

＊"y"で終わる単語の場合は、"y"を"ie"に変えて"th"をつけます。
